Salmon Patties are a true Southern delight!  This is the basic recipe to which you may add dill or other herbs to suit your tastes.  These are great on days when you don’t want to spend a lot of time in the kitchen, especially in the summer months!


Ingredients

  • 1 14.75-oz. can
    Salmon
  • 1
    Egg
  • 1 Cup
    Cracker or Bread Crumbs
  • 3 Tablespoons
    Onion, grated or finely chopped
  • 2 Tablespoons
    Butter

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl.

  2. Form mixture into 4 patties.

  3. Melt 2 Tablespoons butter in a skillet. Add patties and fry until nicely browned on each side.
