A basic recipe for Corn Pudding made from corn, eggs and half ‘n half primarily. More flavor may be added by adding chopped onions, chopped mild green chilies, and/or chopped pimentos to the mixture or by adding cooked crumbled bacon and/or grated cheese to top off the Corn Pudding after it’s baked. Cream or evaporated milk may be used in place of Half ‘n Half.


Ingredients

  • 1 15-oz. can
    Cream-Style Corn
  • 1 15-oz. can
    Whole Corn, drained
  • 2
    Eggs
  • 1 Tablespoon
    Sugar
  • 3 Tablespoons
    Flour
  • 1 Teaspoon
    Salt
  • Dash
    Black Pepper
  • 2 Tablespoons
    Butter, melted
  • 1 Cup
    Half 'n Half

Instructions

  1. Butter a 2-quart casserole dish. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

  2. Assemble all ingredients.

  3. Add all ingredients to a large bowl and mix together until well-blended.

  4. Pour corn pudding mixture into prepared casserole dish.

  5. Bake Corn Pudding at 375 degrees F. for 45 minutes or until top is set and lightly browned.
