Great bar cookie for Christmas or any time of the year!  Flavored with brown sugar, vanilla and nuts, we’ll bet you can’t eat just one!


Ingredients

  • 16 Ounces
    Brown Sugar
  • 1 1/2 sticks
    Butter
  • 2
    Eggs
  • 2 Cups
    All-purpose Flour
  • 2 Teaspoons
    Baking Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon
    Salt
  • 1 Teaspoon
    Vanilla
  • 1 Cup
    Nuts, chopped

Instructions

  1. Melt butter and stir in brown sugar. Cool. Add eggs. Mix flour, baking powder, salt, vanilla and nuts together. Add to other mixture. Mix well.

  2. Pour into a greased 9" x 13" pan and smooth top to level.

  3. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 30 minutes or until done. Cut into squares and enjoy!
