A wonderful combination of two summer fruits, blueberries and peaches!  The blueberries color the peaches making a beautiful dish.  Cinnamon, ground cloves and lemon juice intensify the flavors of this yummy crisp.


Ingredients

  • 1
    Pint Blueberries
  • 2 Cups
    Fresh Peaches, peeled & sliced
  • 1 Tablespoon
    Lemon Juice
  • 1/2 Cup
    Sugar
  • 1/4 Cup
    All-Purpose Flour
  • 1/2 Teaspoon
    Cinnamon, ground
  • 1/4 Teaspoon
    Cloves, ground
  • 3/4 Cups
    All-Purpose Flour
  • 1/3 Cup
    Rolled Oats
  • 1/3 Cup
    Butter, melted
  • 1/2 Cup
    Brown Sugar, packed firmly

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Combine the fruit and lemon juice and add sugar, flour, cinnamon and cloves.

  2. Put fruit mixture into a greased 8" x 8" x 2" baking pan.

  3. Prepare topping by combining flour, oats and brown sugar in a bowl. Stir in the butter to make a crumbly mixture.

  4. Sprinkle fruit mixture with topping and bake for 35 minutes.
